Calatagan police chief Major Radam Ramos identified the trainees as John Gardoce, John Efren Cachero, Ian Mariano, Nathaniel Danga, Gary Tan, and Michael Villaester.
They were fixing a pump when the 12-foot metal pipe they were holding touched a live wire connected at the post.
Four of victims were confined at Metro Balayan Medical Center while the other two who sustained minor injuries were brought to the Don Manuel Lopez Memorial Hospital.
Ramos said Gardoce later became critical and had to be transferred to Batangas Medical Center, where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
