Metro League: Bacoor completes elims sweep

by Ernest Hernandez Bacoor preserved its unbeaten slate, mauling Isang Pateros, 104-82, in the Metro League Reinforced Conference at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila on Saturday night. Entering the game at 8-0, Bacoor found itself in danger of getting a loss right at their last elimination round assignment as Isang Pateros raced to a 21-13 lead after the first quarter. Mark Pangilinan tallied 25 markers, eight boards, and three assists for Bacoor, which completed a nine-game sweep of the elims in only its first conference in the Metro League. Dawn Ochea came up with 20 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks. Rickson Gerero made 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Isang Pateros, which finished the conference with a dismal 1-8 record.
