Magnitude 4 quake rocks Masbate

By Nino Luces LEGAZPI CITY, Albay - A magnitude 4 earthquake rocked the province of Masbate and nearby provinces in Bicol region early Monday morning. Based on the latest advisory of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake happened at around 6:45 a.m. Its location was plotted south of East of Pio V. Corpuz, Masbate province with a 30 kilometer depth and was tectonic in origin. Intensity 1 was also felt in Masbate City, including Legazpi City in Albay province. No damage was reported in Masbate and nearby provinces.
