Reigning five-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo feels sorry for the Spider-Man dressed fan that entered the court late in Game 5 of the Philippine Cup finals series between San Miguel Beer and Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Fajardo said that while he felt dizzy after the man in the Spider-Man costume accidentally bumped into him at mid-court, he said he is ok that nothing serious happened to him in that unfortunate incident.

“Nagulat lang ako. Hindi ko ini-expect. Lahat naman tayo hindi ini-expect yun,” Fajardo said.
“Wala naman yun, sa akin hindi problema yun. Siguro gusto lang nya magpa-pansin… pero mali yung way nya. Kinuyog tuloy sya, kawawa naman,” added the soft-spoken Fajardo.
The still unidentified was able to enter the court at about 3-minutes to play in the game with Magnolia ahead, 84-78, despite tight security provided by the personnel of the Big Dome and the Philippine National Police.
Play was halted at the 3:06 mark when several of the PBA staff and Araneta security were able to pacify "Spider-Man" who was brought at the hallway. A second alleged accomplice was also caught after being mobbed in front of the San Miguel bench.
The two men, plus a third one who allegedly punched the guy in Spider-Man suit, were sent to police station. According to PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, they will file charges after an investigation.
The now infamous "Spidey" fan said since the election is coming, he just wants to send a message, and that is "love". Fajardo said there are ways to send a message in the PBA – but running inside the playing court is not one of them if he wants to get the attention.
"Walang problema kung ganun, pero mali yung way nya na pag-send ng message… Sa mga fans, wag dapat tularan yung mga ganun," he said.
“Lahat kami naglalaro lang kami dito e. At the end of the day trabaho namin to e, ginagawa namin yung trabaho namin. Yung mga fans, support lang kayo sa teams nyo,” Fajardo added.
Fajardo said he is more concerned on the game’s result after SMB lost 88-86 following a game-winning basket by Mark Barroca, giving Magnolia a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Game 6 is set Sunday at the same venue.
The player known as the 'Kraken' said he is moving on from this incident, even joking on what happened.
"Hindi ko nakita yung tao. Nagulat na lang ako parang may bumangga sa jaw ko. Nagulat ako, tapos pag-tingin ko si Spider-Man… kala ko si Arwind," Fajardo said in reference to SMB teammate Arwind Santos, whose moniker is also based on the comic book hero.
