Davao Oriental governor lauds police for arresting his son in drug-bust ops

Dayanghirang said he will not tolerate any illegal perpetrated by his son. The governor said the young Dayanghirang did not grow under his supervision. The elder Dayanghirang said when he learned that his son was involved in illegal drugs, he immediately sent him to rehabilitation twice. A Toril Police Station report bared that about 4 p.m. of May 8, suspects were arrested at Jasmine Blooms Apartelle, University Avenue, Juna Subdivision, Talomo District. Dayanghirang allegedly sold a small plastic sachet to a police officer, who acted as a buyer, while Sanchez was caught in the act sniffing shabu. Recovered in the area were shabu stored in different sized of plastic sachets, estimated to weight 13 grams with a street value of P208,000. Aside from the illegal drugs, several paraphernalia were also recovered in the operation.
