Metro League: Late charge pushes Bacoor past San Juan

by Ernest Hernandez Bacoor banked on a late push to turn back San Juan, 90-84, in its first home game in the Metro League Reinforced Conference at the STRIKE Gymnasium on Sunday night. The Strike went on an 8-0 run in the final 1:14 of the game to overturn an 82-84 deficit entering the two-minute warning to a six-point win. Pao Castro put up 23 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Bacoor. RJ Ramirez added 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals, while Michael Mabulac chipped in 13 markers, 15 boards, three dimes, and one swipe. Joshua Saret made 28 points, one rebound, and five dimes for San Juan. On the other hand, Michael Canete dropped 25 markers, 10 caroms, four assists, three interception, and one block.
