President Duterte gave this advice to troops battling the Abu Sayyaf Group and other lawless elements as he warned against being tortured, raped and decapitated if taken to their camp.
"Kung mag-surrender ka, dalin ka sa kampo, bababuyin ka lang parang aso. Kung anong gagawain sa iyo, magpamasahe, tapos ‘yung and there are homosexuals there. They will use you day and night,” Duterte said during an assembly of the National Federation of the Motorcycle Clubs of the Philippines in Iloilo City Saturday.
"Sabi ko, do not go into that kind of s*** there. You die a warrior. You kill yourself. Do not surrender," he added.
Given the threat posed by terrorists, Duterte explained that he has given new weapons to soldiers to better defend themselves from any attack. He said they should save the last bullet for themselves than be caught alive by terrorists.
"Kung maubos na ‘yung dalawang magazine mo at palapit na itong mga Abu Sayyaf na ‘to, sabi ko huwag kang mag-surrender ," he said.

The President earlier ruled out holding peace negotiations with the Abu Sayyaf Group in the wake of its notorious atrocities in the south. Duterte instead has ordered the military to destroy the Abu Sayyaf group especially following its suspected involvement in the two deadly explosions in Jolo. "They don’t have any ideology, they are pretending to be Muslims with a cause but all they do is to kill and destroy,” the commander-in-chief said.
