Dean of AFP's corps of professors visits Eastern Mindanao Command

Viaje, the Dean of Corps Of Professors of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, paid a courtesy visit to the Eastern Mindanao Command on Saturday, March 30. The visit was in line with the ongoing information drive on the recruitment, institutionalization and efforts of strengthening the military teaching profession as major component and program in the continuing professionalization of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Viaje was accorded with military honors on his arrival, and was received by Lt. Gen. Felimon T. Santos Jr., Commander Eastern Mindanao Command and other officers of the Command. In his remarks, Santos saw the importance of Corp of Professor as this will facilitate doctrine development in the AFP. He said this will be instrumental in the repository of lessons learned and experiences of the soldiers and officers in the field.
