PRC dispatches fire trucks, ambulances to Brgy Damayang Lagi fire

By Jel Santos Three fire trucks and five ambulances were dispatched by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to help fight a fire that broke out in residential area in Quezon City on Wednesday. "As of 2:45 p.m., the residential fire in Damayang Lagi QC has been raised to General Alarm," the humanitarian body said. According to PRC, two water tankers at PRC headquarters in Mandaluyong City are now on standby should there be a need to send an augmentation. "We have put other PRC chapters and branches on standby alert." The fire reportedly started around 1 p.m. As of press time, firefighters were still trying to put out the fire.
