2 universities share 100-percent passing rate in MedTech board exam

BY MB ONLINE Two universities barged into the top with a 100-percent passing rate in the March 2019 Medical Technologist (MedTech) Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced. According to PRC, 2,801 out of 4,092 passed the exam. 127 examinees from Cagayan State University and 72 from the Adventist University of the Philippines topped the said exam with a 100-percent passing rate. Saint Louis University ranked second while the University of San Agustin followed on third with 99.65-percent and 97.78-percent passing rates, respectively. John Steward Alberto from the Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus and Zairah Monjardin from the Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation shared the top spot with a 91.10-percent rating. The MedTech Licensure Exam was administered from March 13 to 14 by the PRC Board of Medical Technology at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
