36 prosecutors appointed at DOJ

By Jeffrey Damicog  Thirty six more prosecutors have been appointed to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra revealed that the new prosecutors who will be placed under the National Prosecution Service (NPS) were recently appointed by Malacanang just last Thursday. (MANILA BULLETIN) (MANILA BULLETIN) “Another batch of NPS appointments coming out before 25 March 2019,” he added. Among the new appointees, two have been designated to the DOJ main office in Manila, namely, Assistant State Prosecutor Herbert Calvin Dela Pena and Senior Deputy State Prosecutor Jaugan, Mariza De Los Santos. There are five new appointees assigned to the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office and they are Deputy City Prosecutor Jessie Melendez Bautista; Assistant City Prosecutors Joker Paul Ayonayon De Ala and Maria Cristina Sampaga-Manuel; Senior Assistant City Prosecutors Aquil Pangarungan Ismael and Maryjury Madrid-Songgadan. Other prosecutors assigned in Metro Manila are Deputy City Prosecutor Raymund Oliver Sigua Almonte, Quezon City; Assistant City Prosecutor Mary Eileen Chinte-Cabrera, Pasay City; Assistant City Prosecutor Generoso Orias Damot, Jr., Pasay City; Assistant City Prosecutor Marcos Fernandez Dela Cruz, Jr., Pasay City; Assistant City Prosecutor Neil Hector Tabay Dueñas, Pasay City; Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Marissa Lopez Ednaco, Pasay City; Assistant City Prosecutor Phillip Martinez Torres, Pasay City; and Assistant City Prosecutor Jose Marbas Vizcarra, Jr., Makati City. While, newly appointed prosecutors in other cities are Tacloban City Prosecutor Ma. Liza Miscala Jorda; Deputy City Prosecutor Reynold Bulwayan Alunday, Tabuk City; Assistant City Prosecutor Katrina Monserrat Fernandez Aznar, Talisay City; Assistant City Prosecutor Francis Ian Undalok Birondo, Lapu-Lapu City; Marizon Catameo-Sarmiento, Antipolo City; Associate City Prosecutor Ray Ann Israita De Guzman, Antipolo City; Assistant City Prosecutor Ana Mei Duran Montenegro, Dumaguete City; Assistant City Prosecutor Danieza Julaidah Jamil Padate, Koronadal City; Associate City Prosecutor Kristoffer Ryan Hing Tayhopon, Antipolo City; Associate City Prosecutor Allison Zoila Telan-Eclar, Antipolo City; Associate City Prosecutor Manolito Tamondong Tiuseco, Dumaguete City; Associate City Prosecutor Jimmy Areola Yasol, Tagum City; Deputy City Prosecutor Higinio Cañon Yazar, Tacloban City; and Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Rhandy Gavas Ilisan, Cagayan De Oro City. Other prosecutors who have been assigned to the various provincial prosecutor’s offices are Marinduque Provincial Prosecutor Eugene Oliver McCann Jabson; Compostela Valley Deputy Provincial Prosecutor Rucel Dela Cruz  Cayetano; Lanao Del Norte Associate Provincial Prosecutor Nur Jaypha  Bacaraman-Asum; Zamboanga Del Sur Associate Provincial Prosecutor Elias Orlando Pedrano Dagohoy; Quezon Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Jose Federico Medioro Gendrano; Ifugao Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Zenaida Munar Niwane, Ifugao; and Nueva Ecija Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Zea Mai Domingo Wycoco.
