Pampanga is the perfect place to invest instead of the crowded Metro Manila area.
“One of my advocacies if elected will be to decongest the nation’s capital by creating thriving economic centers in other areas through tax incentives. With the new projects being done in Pampanga, this is the perfect place,” former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said Monday.

“We’re not only addressing the traffic situation in Manila, but also creating new jobs for Pampanga residents so that they don’t have to seek employment in the Metro,” he explained.
Foreign investments and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) have found a home at the Clark business center, which also houses Diosdado Macapagal International Airport.
Construction of the Japan-funded Clark-Malolos-Manlla railroad project is underway.
In a press statement, the Enrile camp said supporters of the senator expressed their support for his candidacy during a Pampanga stop of his nationwide campaign.
The 95-year-old lawmaker is seeking a fifth term at the 24-member Senate through the coming May, 2019 mid-term elections.
Enrile first stopped at the Pampanga Provincial Capitol in San Fernando City, the only senatoriable guest during their flag-raising ceremony. He later paid a courtesy call on Gov. Lilia Pineda and other local officials.
This was followed by a motorcade passing through San Fernando, Bacolor, Guagua, and Lubao. The former senator then joined senatorial candidates lawyer Glenn Chong, and Jolo Revilla, representing former Senator Bong Revilla, as well as former President and now House Speaker Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in a caucus.
Five years shy of being 100 years old, Enrile showed no signs of stopping as he walked house-to-house for the campaign.
“I thank Speaker Arroyo, Gov. Pineda, and the officials of Pampanga for joining me and for the people of Pampanga who showed overwhelming support today,” Enrile shared at the sidelines of the caucus.
“One of my advocacies if elected will be to decongest the nation’s capital by creating thriving economic centers in other areas through tax incentives,” Enrile said.
He had earlier stated that his platform also includes consumer protection, improvement of telecommunication services, and a thorough study of the energy sector.
