Before the jeepney came to a stop, some of the passengers were thrown out and ended being hit by the skidding PUJ.
The video of the actual accident posted by Maricel Wadia at around 11 am lasted for more than 3 minutes.
While another video she posted showed the aftermath of the accident with the PUJ eventually being hauled away from the scene.
It remained unclear from the video whether any of the passengers were seriously hurt, although some of them still managed to get out of the wreckage unassisted.
Some of the passengers limped away, while the others helped the other passengers get out of the jeep as it remained toppled sideways.
From the comments on the posted video it can be gathered that such accidents happen in the Rizal area far too often.
Many of the netizens blame the drivers for their reckless habits, allegedly being unmindful of the safety and welfare of commuters.
