Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said she is not worried that the administration's bloody war on drugs will reflect badly on the image of Hugpong ng Pagbabago candidates.
"Drugs are a reality of the Philippines and all countries in the world," she said amid issues of floating bricks of illegal drugs being found off the waters in various parts of the country.

"Mabuti na malawak at malakas ang kampanya ngayon against drugs (The strong and wide campaign against illegal drugs is good)," she said. "Nakikita namin na supportive ang mga tao (We can see that the people are supportive)."
The Presidential daughter also said she is used to drug lords threatening their family, following President Duterte's statements that drug lords will go after him after he is no longer in power.
"For years, his platform in government has been anti-crime," she said. "The campaign against illegal drugs did not start when he was President. It started when he was still Davao City mayor."
"We grew up like that. We're used to it," she added.
