The unveiling rites was conducted by top revenue officials after the regular flag raising ceremony and a follow up of the 2019 national tax campaign event held at the Philippine International Convention Center two weeks ago.
The same ceremony was also held in all regional offices nationwide where BIR personnel wore the official while polo shirt with the theme and logo.
The red and blue heart shaped logo emphasizes the rendering of excellent and sincere service to taxpayers to encourage them to pay correct taxes.
The two-toned logo is formed in hands shaking gesture to symbolize the desire in bringing taxpayers closer to the BIR and reminding them of their financial obligation so that the government can do its job better.
