Little Caesars Pizza, the third largest pizza chain in the world, is officially back to the Philippines, with its first Manila branch set to hold its grand opening today.

“Little Caesars is excited to celebrate the opening of its first restaurant in the Philippines, and to finally share our delicious pizzas with everyone,” said Paula Vissing, Senior Vice President of International for Little Caesars Pizza.
Headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, Little Caesars is the largest carry out-only pizza chain in the United States.

Founded in 1959 as a single, family-owned restaurant, Little Caesars has become the third largest pizza chain in the world with stores in 24 countries and territories worldwide, including in each of the 50 US states.

Before closing down its operations in the Philippines, the pizza chain gained popularity in the country in late 1990s for its buy one-take one offering.
Now the company is back in the Philippines through a franchise agreement with Palmtree ph Foods Corp., which is owned by businessman James Kodrowski.

The grand opening of Little Caesars Pizza Manila, located at the Metrosquare Building in Ermita, features Little Caesars Pizza’s delicious HOT-N-READY® pizza — fresh, hot pizza that allows customers to be in and out of the store in 30 seconds or less.

The celebrations take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. today and is free and open to all.

Little Caesars Pizza will also launch its “PizzaPizzaGiving” promotion during the grand opening, which invites customers to give a friend or family member a free pizza, and in return they will also receive a free pizza.

“We’re looking forward to making thousands of Filipinos happy as they participate in our ‘PizzaPizzaGiving’ promotion. The best way to enjoy Little Caesars Pizza is by sharing it with friends and family,” Vissing said.

“As the brand continues to experience growth internationally, Little Caesars Pizza is offering franchise opportunities throughout Asia and is accepting inquiries from interested entrepreneurs eager to join a world-famous pizza brand,” the company said in a statement.
