Jollibee Foods Corporation said they are taking "necessary steps" to protect their trademark rights on the "infringing" JoyRulBee store in China.
"Our Legal team has been taking the necessary steps in order to protect and uphold our company’s trademark rights as what is provided for under the law," JFC said in a statement.

The multinational company added that similar looking Jollibee store in Guangxi, China has been brought to their attention prior the viral post on Facebook.
Last January 19, Facebook user Christopher Guzman posted photos of a food stall in Guangxi, China named "JoyRulBee" which had an identical design to Jollibee.
The China-based food stall also used Jollibee's mascot as its logo.
The post has been shared more than 10,000 times on the social media platform as of writing.
