BUTUAN CITY –The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Caraga (TESDA) Caraga Region 13 opened early this week 13 “Malasakit” Help Desks in strategic places in the five provinces and six cities in Northeastern Mindanao or Caraga region, TESDA 13 Regional Director Dr. Florencio F. Sunico, Jr. said.
The “Malasakit” Help Desk is the brainchild of TESDA Director General, Sec. Isidro S. Lapeña to provide a platform for a more organized, uniform and immediate response to queries pertaining to the services and programs rendered by TESDA, Director Sunico said.
“This will help also our far-flung communities to know what programs are currently being offered by the government, especially villagers from highland communities in the region,” Sunico said.
The “Malasakit” Help Desks are open 8 a.m. to 12 noon with “No Noon Break Policy until 5 p.m., with services offered like scholarship and referrals.
