We've already forgiven the killer, slain bowling gold medalist's family says

We have prayed and forgiven whoever caused this. I know papa would also love that. For all PNP staff and for everyone who have prayed for us, thank you so much for your service and support to the family,”Angelica Constantino, the eldest daughter of the victim, said in a text message forwarded to the media. Despite the family statement, the Special Investigation Task Group Constantino (SITG-Constantino) said it will continue the probe to give justice to the bowling gold medalist. Constantino won a gold medal as bowling athlete in Venezuela during the World Youth Championship in 1992. Probe Senior Superintendent Dindo Reyes, San Juan police chief, recently disclosed that investigators found fingerprints on the .45 caliber pistol they found at the basement parking area of E-Lanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, San Juan. Police believe the gun,found early Saturday morning, was the weapon used in the killing. Investigators are also trying to obtain a copy of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage of a building near the vacant lot where the assailant could have possibly passed by during his escape. The vacant lot, which is near the entrance/exit of the basement parking area of E-Lanes Bowling Center, has no CCTV but the adjacent building has one. Constantino was shot while taking his snacks by the gunman who entered the bowling center at around 5 p.m. Friday.
