3 inmates caught in pot session in Lipa City Jail

By Lyka Manalo LIPA CITY, Batangas - Three inmates of the Lipa City Jail, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) were caught holding a pot session inside their dorm here on New Year’s Day. A report from Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) identified the suspects as Warren Joseph Marasigan, 43, Leo Dizon, 33, and Eger Payonga, 32 years old. BJMP personnel received a tip that there was a pot session being held at the male dormitory in Barangay Uno at around 5 p.m. BJMP personnel allegedly caught the suspects and confiscated one used strip aluminum foil, one improvised burner, lighter, improvised cutter, and small brown envelop with aluminum foil strip. The suspects were turned over to Lipa City Police and are facing charges of violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act).
