Vegafria adds: “However, we cannot rest on our laurels, nor should we remain complacent. As we welcome all these new challenges, we remain optimistic primarily because we are opening new doors, creating new opportunities, and making pageant history as well.” He also encourages candidates to always aspire to raise the bar "so that they will always evolve and be better versions of themselves.” “Aside from having the looks and talent, they should also have the right attitude, good moral character, pleasing personality, intelligence, and they should also qualify as rightful ambassadors of their country; “More importantly, they should never lose track of our primary objective. Miss World Philippines has always been more than just beauty. We encourage our future queens to be more responsible, civic-minded and creative with their own unique advocacies, no matter how humble," Vegafria says.
