President Duterte has named Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro as new member of the Board of Directors at the state-run Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC-13).

De Castro's new assignment came as the Senate investigates the controversial P60-million advertisement deal between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and another government-run station PTV-4.
Based on appointment papers released by Malacañang Wednesday, De Castro will be replacing Manolito Cruz and will be serving until June 30, 2019.
Duterte meanwhile appointed Edwin Enrile as new Tourism undersecretary, replacing De Castro.
Other appointees
Meanwhile, Duterte nominated former journalist Allan Nawal as a member of the board of directors at the Independent Realty Corporation and Mid-Pasig Land Development Corporation.
The President also named lawyer Michael Ong as acting Senior Deputy Executive Secretary, replacing Menardo Guevarra who is now Justice Secretary. McJill Bryant Fernandez was named as acting Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration.
Duterte also appointed Vanessa Goc-ong and Beatrice Vega, as new assistant secretaries at the Office of the President, and Francisco Acosta as chairman of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas.
Paul Paulin was named Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer, replacing Cristeta Pacis, while Peter Joseph Fauni was appointed as Register of Deeds II at the Land Registration Authority at the Department of Justice.
The President named Ruben Lopez as a member of the board of directors at the United Coconut Planters Bank, and Joe Jay Doctora as member of the board of directors at the Small Business Corporation.
Dengel Palmares was named as member of the board of directors at the Philippine Sugar Corporation, and Danilo Trongco as member, representing the tobacco farmers sector, of the board of directors at the National Tobacco Administration.
Amador Tabuga Jr. was appointed as a member of the board of directors at the Philippine Mining Development Corporation.
