By: Jonathan Castillo nokia_7_plus-ROW-details-black   Nokia continues to up its game when it comes to their design, and overall performance. It seems like Nokia does not submit to the smartphone design pattern every other brand's are following. And with the great camera, design that you might even have mistaken to be that of a high-end, and above-average battery life of the Nokia 7 Plus, it will be a smartphone that the masses would not find difficult to love. The Nokia 7 Plus is one of the newest devices from HMD Global -the Finnish company that licensed the Nokia name. From a total design outlook, in the past Nokia almost never manufactured a phone that looks the same as the year before it. Every new lineup, you can expect would look different. These days with smartphones that seems impossible, and yet, the Nokia 7 plus looks different. The unit we received for review was black with copper accents and it looks gorgeous with a refreshing look to it compared to the many phones cut from glass, metal, and plastic we've been reviewing over the years. It's the same kind of slate you'd expect from any modem phone but the combination of two colors really made it stand out. On the get-go, the Nokia 7 plus runs on stock Android Oreo. You can just power up your phone, setup your account, your needed apps, security, and you're golden. No need to spend time hunting bloatware and deleting them. Powering the Nokia 7 plus is a Qualcomm Snap- dragon 660. While that's not the most powerful processor, it's a champion for the middle range Smartphone segment. Apps fire up fast and some mobile game apps should have no trouble running lag-free. The 6-inch Full' HD features 1080x2160 resolution with a 403 pixel density. With those specs I found the Nokia 7 plus, as a device for entertainment: Movies, online browsing, gaming, the Nokia 7 plus excels expectations. Circling back to the phone's design, it sports smooth edges and corners with a distinct feel that gives it a comfortable grip, you'd be entertained for hours. Camera features include using both front and rear cameras at the same time. Nokia is championing the term "Bothie" where both front and rear cameras run at the same time, giving you a half-and-half video. There's also the picture-in-picture, where both the rear and front cameras record videos, but the latter is displayed in a small box to the main's video's corner. ln YouTube's terms this would be called face cam. These features were designed more for vlogging which is an increasing trend for a lot of people all over the world. There should be a ton of ways how to get creative with these features. The Nokia 7 plus pushes forward with longtime partner, ZEISS Optics, with dual rear cameras -12MP and 13MP. Captured photos are sharp in detail, flourishing with vibrant colors, and really bright video recording is also supported by EIS - Electronic Image Stabilization, which reduces camera shakes to down to smooth, panning movements. The front 16MP camera snaps fast with impressive shots. Under low-light performance all cameras managed to take decent photos. Battery life boasts 3800mAh. And this land of charge lasts over a day along with the 1080p screen and less demanding processor. It also should be noted that the Nokia 7 plus ships free of bloatware, leaving you with plenty more storage to Use and saving your time from deleting all unwanted apps. It's clear that Nokia wants to make it back on top; and with the likes of the Nokia 7 plus and even the other devices Such as the 5 and the 8, that's not impossible. Nokia is a household name and it would be interesting to see where they're headed in the next five years. In the meantime, the Nokia 7 plus does deserve to be checked out.
