STA MARIA, Bulacan —Here's good news to students, workers, and commuters in Bulacan. The Point-to-Point (P2P) Premium buses are now plying the Malolos and Sta Maria (Bulacan)-EDSA-North Avenue in Quezon City routes from Mondays to Saturdays.
From Bulacan, the buses are dispatched every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The buses from EDSA-North Avenue bound for Sta Maria and Malolos will be dispatched from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Department of Transportation (DOTR) Undersecretary for Roads Thomas ‘Tim’ Orbos said Point-to-Point or P2P buses are unique because they have particular places of loading and unloading.
The EDSA-North Avenue bound passengers will be unloaded at the Triangle North of Manila (Trinoma) Mall. The P2P terminal in the City of Malolos is at the Robinson’s Place, while the P2P terminal in Santa Maria is located at the Flying V along the by-pass Road.
There will be no loading and unloading of passengers anywhere except in the designated places.
According to Grace M. Joaquin, Precious Grace Transport president and concessionaire of the P2P routes, 15 units of brand new buses are assigned to the Malolos-North Avenue route while 15 buses will cover the Santa Maria-North Avenue route.
Anthony Paul Calado, senior operations manager of the Pilipinas Bus World Corporation, said that all should strictly follow the standard arrangement of the P2P.
"Walang patatayuin dito dahil lahat ay nakaupo sa 47 seating capacity. Nilagyan din ng tig-isang rampa ang dalawang pintuan ng P2P bus para sa mga sasakay na person-with-disability (PWD) na naka-wheel chair. Sa loob, mayroon itong tig-apat na silya kada hanay o tig-dalawang upuang naihihiga sa kanan at kaliwa at higit sa lahat, airconditioned", Calado explained. (Standing passengers are not allowed. The bus has a ramp for PWD passengers. It features four seats per row and good airconditioning.)
The Malolos to EDSA-North Avenue fare is P80.00, while it is P70.00 for the Santa Maria to EDSA-North Avenue route.
