Away from the prying eyes of the media, President Duterte discreetly made his way to a shopping mall in Makati City Saturday evening. Expectedly, he was approached by excited mall goers eager to take a picture with him.
In different videos uploaded by Facebook and Twitter users, Duterte was seen inside a luxury watch store in Greenbelt 5 while a group of Presidential Security Group (PSG) agents were outside the store.
Duterte had gone to the mall after attending the 51st annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank in Mandaluyong City Saturday evening.
This was not the first time that Duterte escaped the media to go for a little shopping in Metro Manila.
In December last year, Duterte went to the same mall to buy a backpack from upscale American brand Tumi. However, it was not disclosed which type of backpack the President bought.
