The Musical Genre Challenge is played by each player taking turns on pressing the button that generates random songs and random musical genres. The chosen player is then required to perform the selected song in the indicated style of genre.
Host Jimmy Fallon started the game by performing Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ in a Ska genre to show how the challenge should be done.
Grande then followed Fallon by singing Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Humble’ in a Goth Rock manner, stating Evanescence as her inspiration.
Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ was also transformed into a 90’s Diva version by Grande.
