The Bloomfields
The Bloomfields has already established their image as a group. When you see them on stage, expect the ’60s vibe with their music and their sleek look. (Parang laging a-attend ng kasalan sa kanilang suit!)
They also take pride in being multi-talented: Lead guitarist Lakan Hila, drummer Rocky Collado, bassist Louie Poco, and rhythm guitarist Dino Pascual are all vocalists, too. (Bume-blending sila bro?!)
Lakan comes from a family of musicians. No wonder he can play several musical instruments. He soars with his amazing leads during instrumentals often playing the keyboards with his guitar firmly strapped to his chest. (Gifted child ito!)
“This time I want to try and develop different patterns and tendencies when recording. I try to go out of our comfort zone more,” Lakan said.
Rocky is fondly called the “Doctor of the Drums” because of his unparalleled talent in playing the drums. (May dala ba itong reseta?!)
“After years of playing covers, I’ve developed a desire to write and create music that I can truly call my own,” Rocky shared. (Gusto ko ’yung may desire, bro!)
Louie is master of rock and roll because of the way he moves on stage and how he sings their selections. (’Yung parang may sapi ganyan?!)
“My dream project is a music channel where we perform and work with other artists and just create quality music and videos. ’Yung good vibes lang,” Louie said. (Gawa tayo video, bro!)
Dino is the youngest member. He has this balladeer voice that captures the female crowd. (Kahit daw ’yung mga di masyadong female ha!)
“I am very optimistic with the band scene. Years from now, there will be new bands, more OPM songs. People will be hungry for new content and original songs,” Dino explained. (Nagutom ako, eat tayo, bro!)
The Bloomfields recently signed up with Curve Entertainment. They just released their album titled “ Hit The Ground Running. “
“We thank all the Bloomies! As long as you keep listening to our music, we promise to never stop creating more songs for you to fall in love with. Mabuhay ang OPM!” Lakan said. (Ako ata na-inlove na sa inyo mga bro! Push!)
