The actress has been charged in the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office by Myra Santos, mother of the 17-year old Eleila Santos on Tuesday whom Adarna accused of taking videos of her at a Japanese restaurant.
Santos said that their family filed complaints against Adarna for violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law and Anti-Cybercrime Law.
The complaint was filed a week after Santos posted an open letter to Adarna on Facebook, demanding a public apology from the actress within five days.
On May 4, Adarna posted an Instagram story that showed the younger Santos and her companion, accusing the child of doing paparazzi moves.
The teen, on the other hand, explained herself on Twitter that she was just taking videos of her food and claimed that she did not even notice that Adarna was in the restaurant.
Santos said her child had even reached out to Adarna about the misunderstanding.
The family refused to give further details as they wanted to limit the exposure to avoid further negative effects on their daughter.
The mother stated that Adarna has no right to ruin her daughter’s reputation.
