CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — A total of 1,161 patients from this city and nearby towns benefited from the free medical and dental consultation conducted by SM Foundation Incorporated at SM City San Jose Del Monte last Friday.

Dubbed as “Gamot Para Sa Kapwa,” the SM Foundation Medical Mission beneficiaries were able to avail themselves of the various services such as medical checkup, dental extraction, vital signs monitoring like blood pressure checkup, and the basic laboratory examinations that include cholesterol test, sugar test, and urinalysis.
X-ray test and electro cardiograph (ECG) were likewise available to patients through the SM Foundation Mobile Clinic.
Thousands of free medicines and other health supplements and ointments were also given during the mission.
The SM Foundation’s Gamot Para Sa Kapwa Medical Mission is the socio civic arm of the SM Group of Companies that aims to provide ancillary services to communities that have limited access to medical services.
Mary Joy L. Ballego, SM mall’s, public relations officer here, said that the mission also aims to provide immediate dental benefits to economically disadvantaged patients within the malls’ vicinity.
Other medical missions will be held at SM City Naga on April 11; SM City Legaspi on April 12; SM Center Lemery on April 17; SM City Pampanga on April 20; Bayambang Event Center in Pangasinan on April 21 and at SM City Cabanatuan on April 25.
