PSC backs PRISAA competition

by Jerome Lagunzad The Philippine Sports Commission has allocated P1 million as financial assistance to the 2018 National PRISAA sports competition set to start April 22 in Tagbilaran, Bohol right after the Palarong Pambansa in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. PSC chairman Butch Ramirez attended the meeting of PRISAA held in Angeles University Foundation in Angeles City in Pampanga and extended assistance to the competition that has become a breeding ground for athletes like Brazil Olympics silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz and Asian Games campaigner and ASEAN gold medalist Nestor Colonia. Diaz and Colonia competed for Zamboanga in PRISAA during their student days.
