The Department of Tourism (DOT) is leaving no stone unturned in its development strategy to make cruise tourism a driver of foreign visitor arrivals.
There is much to do to bring our facilities on a par with those of our Southeast Asian neighbors Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The lack of infrastructure is all that keeps us overlooked as a major destination in the cruise routes in the Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, more and more of the major cruise liners are beginning to lure Filipino travelers to the high seas.
