MWF 1: Kasaysayan promises 'great wrestling and family-friendly entertainment'

By Rafael Bandayrel After last month's successful re-launch event "MWF Open House: Level UP", local promotion Manila Wrestling Federation (MWF) will deliver another thriller with its first major offering titled “MWF 1: Kasaysayan” at Elements at Centris, EDSA Quezon Avenue in Quezon City, Sunday, Apr. 8. The tandem of former WWE talent Ho Ho Lun and Robin Sane will take on Singapore Pro Wrestling’s Kenneth "The Eurasian Dragon" Thexeira and Mr. Lucha in a tag-team match at the main event of the show which will kick-off at 7PM. "At Level UP, we gave our 'Kapa-feds' just a piece of what fans can expect this coming April at Kasaysayan,” said MWF Co-founder and Commissioner Mike Shannon. “On April 8, we will provide fans- casual and hardcore alike- with a product that every Filipino wrestling fan can enjoy. If you're looking for great wrestling and family-friendly entertainment, MWF Kasaysayan is going to be the show for you- And then some!" Also featured on the card are MWF standouts Fabio Makisig, “The Tortured-soul Artist” Frankie Thurteen and “The Dangerous Prizefighter” Rex Lawin.
