A total ban on the deployment of overseas Filipino workers to Kuwait will be issued on Monday.
Raul Francia, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) information and publication service director, said Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III will issue the formal order on the said day.

"The secretary will issue an order on Monday banning deployment of OFWs to Kuwait," he said in an interview.
"What was issued before by the Secretary was just a suspension," added Francia.
He did not provide other details as to who will be covered by the total ban saying the labor chief will clarify this on Monday.
"That has to be threshed out on Monday," Francia said.
It was last month when the labor secretary suspended the deployment of workers to Kuwait following the deaths of seven OFWs in the Gulf state.
In Administrative Order No. 25, Bello directed the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) to stop the processing and issuance of overseas employment certificates (OECs) to all Kuwait-bound workers pending the investigation of the cause of deaths of the Filipino workers.
Yesterday, President Duterte in a press briefing in Davao announced that the suspension on the deployment of workers to Kuwait continues.
The announcement was made after a dead Filipina was found in a freezer at an abandoned apartment in Kuwait.
During the press briefing, the President said he would also ask two airlines to provide transportation for OFWs who wants to come home.
