TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan to tie the knot 'soon'?

If it were all up to him, singer TJ Monterde would like to settle down with his girlfriend of four years, KZ Tandingan.
Yes, they’ve been talking marriage.
“We’re open about it and we’ve been planning it,” he revealed. “I hope it happens soon.”
Any wedding date in mind?

“Sooner than later,” TJ reiterated. “For now we just need to focus on work first.”
Staying together for almost half a decade now, how has their relationship grown, we asked.
Well, according to TJ, they have had so many “firsts” together, beginning with the fact that he is her first boyfriend ever.
TJ is so in love with KZ he even wrote her a song titled “Tulad Mo.” It was originally titled “Kristina,” which is KZ’s real name.
“That’s why there’s line there that says ‘Pag-ibig ko’y aking sinulat at ikaw ang pamagat,’” he shared. “But then for some reason ‘Tulad Mo’ was a better title.”

Asked if he doesn’t feel pressured that his girlfriend is bonafide star especially after her marked stint on the Chinese television series “Singer,” the 28-year-old singer-composer shrugged.
“I don’t feel intimidated at all. We’re both doing different musical genres. Hers is rap, hip-hop and soul while mine is more on the acoustic side,” he explained.
Rather than competing with each other, they are actually complementary.
“Like for me, when I have new track and I don’t know what to do with the melody, I ask for her opinion. Then I also help her write lyrics. So it’s give and take, a collaborative relationship.”
A year after putting out their duet “Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin,” TJ said they have another duet but it will be released “when the right time comes.”
Is that Christmas in the air TJ? What holiday plans do they have, we asked.

“We both have work throughout the holidays but I hope we could be together on New Year’s Day,” he said. “It’s just that she’s been very busy lately. Actually it has been weeks since I last saw her because she’s been doing this project in Davao. Hopefully, by December, she’ll be home.”
Meanwhile, TJ is excited over the release of his re-recorded version of “Litrato Ngayong Pasko,” a love-oriented Christmas tune dedicated to loved ones who live away from us.
PolyEast Records first introduced the song on its official YouTube account in Christmas 2015 and it went viral. TJ’s version is a track from the new album “@ Christmas Time."
Other singers featured in that album are Bamboo, Drei Rana, Izzeah, Juan Miguel Severo, Sassa and Chan Millanes.
