Kris Aquino files cyber libel cases against Jesus Nicardo Falcis III

Kris Aquino (Instagram) Kris Aquino (Instagram) Actress Kris Aquino has filed nine counts of cyber libel cases against Atty. Jesus Falcis III, the brother of her former talent manager and business partner Nicko Falcis. Early this month, she sued Nicko with 44 counts of qualified theft for allegedly "misusing a company credit card for his personal needs, among others." Nicko is out the country and Jesus claimed it's only because Kris supposedly threatened to kill his older brother. On Kris' official Instagram account, she shared a slideshow of pictures that show her filing the case at the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Manila. Attached is the caption about the statement that was read by her lawyer, Atty. Ricky dela Cruz of Divina Law. "We filed criminal cases for nine counts of cyber libel today at the DOJ against Atty. Jesus Nicardo Falcis III. He made malicious and defamatory statements against our client, Ms. Kris Aquino. We will now now make him accountable," read the statement. Then it continued how Kris has "opted to respond to the malicious accusations hurled against her through the legal process" because the actress-host believes it is the "right thing to do." "She has full faith in the Philippine justice system. She knows that we are all equal in the eyes of the law," the statement noted. At the end of the post, it related that Kris respects the prosecutors and she'll now leave it to them to start the legal process.
