The full-length album “Awit At Laro” is a project that aims to promote traditional Filipino children’s games and folk songs through visual arts and music. It was three years in the making and it is Gary’s biggest recording to date as it also celebrates Gary’s 35th year in the industry, his new restored life, and UNICEF’s 70th year in the Philippines.

“Awit At Laro” – the musical recording project – assembles over 70 musical artists from singers to songwriters to music arrangers and musicians in the recording of 20 brand new songs while 20 of the country’s most brilliant visual artists created drawings and paintings that represent each of the songs in the album that is published in a coffee table song book.

The album is the brainchild of Bambi Manosa-Tanjutco and she collaborates for the very first time with Gary Valenciano, who is the godson of her father National Artist, Architect Bobby Mañosa, and his Manila Genesis team.
The concert series has Paolo Valenciano as stage director and James Laforteza as choreographer for the tour’s featured dancers, Steps Dance Project.
