Southern Quezon Convention Center in Gumaca inaugurated

By Danny Estacio GUMACA, Quezon – Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go graced the inauguration of the Southern Quezon Convention Center here and bared plans to institutionalize ‘Malasakit Centers’, one-stop-shop hubs for government services. Go bared his plans during the blessing and inauguration of the convention center, where he was joined by Quezon Governor David C. Suarez, House Minority Floor Leader Rep.Danilo Suarez, ALONA Party-list Rep. Anna V. Suarez and Gumaca Mayor Erwin Caralian. Go said the newly constructed convention center is a testimony to the hard work and strong commitment to furthering the goals of the government to generate income and tax revenue, attract visitors, tourists and investments, which translates to new and greater opportunities for the community here. He also congratulated Suarez and the people of Quezon for the completion of the facility. “Ang Convention Center na ito ay dahil sa lahat ng mga naniwala at nagtiwala na mayroong mas magandang bukas para sa atin. Ito ay para sa mga mamamayan ng Lalawigan ng Quezon (This convention center was constructed because of all those who believed that there is a brighter future for all of us. This is for the people of Quezon province),” Governor Suarez said.
