E. Visayas police boosts 13th BOSS Ironman Motorcycle Challenge security

By Restituto Cayubit CAMP KANGLEON, Palo, Leyte – The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO8) along with the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) Riders Club in coordination with BMW Owners Society of Saferiders, Inc (BOSS) are helping secure the 13th BOSS Ironman Motorcycle Challenge Visayas Leg 2018 which concludes today at the Provincial Capital Gymnasium in Borongan City, Eastern Samar. Carlos told the Manila Bulletin in an interview that 13th BOSS Ironman Motorcycle Challenge Visayas Leg 2018, which started last November 9, is a major event in Eastern Visayas. “It is another big event in Region 8 and the men and women of Police Regional Office 8 is in full support of this activity and will tighten our security to ensure the safety of the riders for the whole duration of the event,” Carlos said. The BOSS Ironman MC Challenge drew some 1,000 riders who are travelled across the region, from Station 1 at the Petron Station in Baragay Buray, Paranas, Samar to Station 2 (Municipal Hall, Naval, Biliran); Station 3 (New Ormoc City Hall); Station 4 (Macrohon Municipal Hall, Southern Leyte); Station 5 (Abuyog Municipal Hall, Leyte); Station 6 (Plaza Rizal, Tacloban City) and Station 7 in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, and back to Borongan City.
