Most would think that having time management skills isn’t a need for kids but that isn’t the case for child stars who have to juggle both entertainment gigs and their studies. Goin’ Bulilit actor JB Agustin tells us how he sets his priorities during the Swag Goals event of Swag Junior Ph.

Setting priorities

The twelve-year old actor has a lot on his plate than most kids his age. Apart from acting, JB is also a Grade 7 student of Divine Grace School. While his shooting schedule for Goin’ Bulilit is on Saturdays, there are times he has to miss class when he has a guesting gig on the weekdays.

“I make sure to ask my classmates and teachers on what I miss. I would do that requirement at home and pass it when I get back.” he says.

JB sometimes struggles with his hectic schedule and sees the need to set his priorities. He makes sure his entertainment projects don’t affect his school performance. “School is my top priority,” the child actor explains “My parents would always tell me to put it first but I also love acting, so it comes next.”

He is fortunate that his school is supportive and gives him enough time to cope with his missed school works. JB finds good time management to be important and also makes it a point to make room for other activities like playing basketball or biking.

“Kailangan we should know our priorities, especially if we want to do a lot of things. It’s also important that you are enjoying sa mga bagay na ginagawa mo.” he ends.
