A better learning environment has been provided to high school students in Peñablanca and Tuguegarao City, Cagayan with the recent completion of two school buildings.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently completed the two educational infrastructure facilities in Don Severino Pagalilauan National High School in Callao, Peñablanca and Pardo Elementary School, Cataggaman Pardo, Tuguegarao City.
A P3-million single-story workshop building was constructed in Don Severino Pagalilauan National High School which will serve as a laboratory facility of senior high school students.
Another one-story school building with a total cost of P970,406 was built in Pardo Elementary School, which will be utilized as a classroom for Grade VI students.
Meanwhile, DPWH Cagayan third district engineer Danilo Tabilas said that aside from the recently completed school buildings, a two-story building with eight classrooms is also being constructed in Gosi National High School located in Barangay Gosi, Tuguegarao City.
It will house two science laboratories and three Information Communication Technology rooms for senior high school students. The project costs P15.6 million, Tabilas said.
The construction of school building projects is a joint undertaking of the DPWH and Department of Education, with the former as implementing agency, and funded through the Basic Educational Facilities Fund.
