A 5.1 magnitude earthquake rattled Zamboanga del Norte Tuesday afternoon.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology traced the quake’s epicenter at 35 km west of Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 19 km, with the following registered intensities:
Intensity 3
Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte
Dipolog City
Intensity 2
Labason, Zamboanga del Norte
Salug, Zamboanga del Norte
Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte
Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte
Baliangao, Misamis Occidental
Zamboanga City
Dumaguete City
Pagadian City
Larena, Siquijor
Phivolcs also said the quake was felt under the following instrumental intensities:
Intensity 2
Zamboanga City
Dipolog City
Intensity 1
Cebu City; Sibulan, Negros Oriental
No aftershocks and damage were expected from the quake.
