CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police arrested over the weekend the four suspects in the murder of former municipal councilor Mario de Ausen of Sta. Rita, Pampanga, who was gunned down in front of his house last Wednesday.

Chief Superintendent Amador V Corpus, regional director of the Central Luzon Police, identified the suspects arrested last Saturday as Gilbert Aurelio, of Poblacion Sta. Cruz, San Luis, Pampanga; Angelo Aurelio, of Bonga Mayor, Bustos, Bulacan; Albert Abletes of Tenejero, Bacolor, Pampanga; and one alias “Boss.”
Corpus said the four yielded two vehicles believed used in their getaway on the night of De Ausen’s killing – a red Toyota Innova J and black single PMR100 motorcycle.
The 58-year-old former councilor was shot dead at 6:40 p.m. last October 10 while the victim was on board his Toyota Fortuner (VD-9376) and waiting to for the gate of his house to open in Barangay San Matias, Sta. Rita.
Corpus said charges for murder with conspiracy have been filed against the suspects, docketed under NPS No. III-12-INQ-01939.
