Chet Cuneta was accompanied by his sister, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, in filing his COC for mayor at the Comelec Office with his runningmate former Pasay City Councilor Richard Advincula in tow.

His filing was delayed for one-and-a-half hours due to some complications that were eventually resolved.

Chet is running under the banner of the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC). After filing his COC, he was followed by 10 members of his slate for councilors in the 1st and 2nd Districts of the city.

Sharon expressed support for his brother’s plan to continue their father’s political legacy. The late former mayor served the city for 41 years under seven presidents.

Chet spent 32 years working as a pilot before being convinced to enter the political arena.

He will be contesting the mayoralty with Rep. Emi Calixto-Rubiano who also filed her COC yesterday.
