Kapuso actors Carla Abellana and Rocco Nacino are of the right age, successful in their careers, and each so happy in love with whom even many assume is “the one.” Cue wedding song? Hold that thought.

First, the 32-year-old actress admitted in a recent interview that she and her boyfriend of four years, actor Tom Rodriguez, had talked marriage. They want to settle down in the future but only when they are already “secured.”
“So let’s see in the next few years,” she assured.
Asked if she’ll stay away from the limelight by then, Carla said that might happen as she wants to be a hands-on mom.
At this point, no more lover’s quarrel?
“I think it will never recede, it’s normal, it will always be there but we’ve learned how to handle it, learned how to give and take,” she related. “It never reached the point that we wanted to end things.”
Rocco, on the other hand, noted that his athlete-girlfriend Melissa Gohing is keeping her last name for now.
Like Carla, the actor wants his house finished before leveling up his love life. Well, it can’t be long as the house is “70 percent done” and should be complete by “end of the year.”
“I want to prepare that house first, a place where we can comfortably live.”
But how are they doing?
“We’re good, we’re steady,” Rocco said. “We support each other.”
Carla and Rocco play husband and wife on “Pamilya Roces” that starts airing on GMA today. It is about Roces clan, led by Rodolfo (played by Roi Vinzon). He is rich, easily tempted, and the founder of Roces Group of Companies.
Carla is Crystal Rose Roces-Javellana, the eldest legal daughter of Rodolfo. Her character has always been independent and she is being groomed to be the next CEO of their company. Her greatest fear is not living up to people’s expectations, especially of her father’s.

Rocco is Hugo Javellana, Crystal’s cariñosong husband who is currently one of the family company’s executives. Soon he and Crystal’s half-sister Amber (Sophie Albert) will have a secret affair.
Rocco said his role shows a different side of him as he rarely does comedy. He also shows some skin in key scenes.
Carla said that despite the subject of infidelity, the show is “light” and “stress-relieving.”
With both thinking marriage in real life, it’s safe to assume having a third party in their respective relationships is farthest from their minds.
