GENERAL SANTOS CITY - Security forces arrested on Thursday four suspected ISIS sympathizers during a police raid in Barangay Sumbakil, Polomolok, South Cotabato.
Supt. Aldrin Gonzales, regional police spokesperson, identified the arrested suspects as Mohamed Bansil Lompong, 28; Dats Kasiba Kalangke, 27; Monib Salik Sagadan, 40; and Adin Kasiba Dala who are said to be remnants of the local ISIS-inspired terror group Ansar Al-Khilafah Philippines.
He said the suspects were nabbed during a raid on the safe house of two AKP terror suspects brothers  Mohamad and Arafat Bulacon, who were tagged as the suspects in the killing of PO1 Achilles Tablazon in Barangay Palian, Tupi, South Cotabato last September 15.
Police said the Bulacon brothers managed to escape during the raid.
Police seized from the suspects two fragmentation grenades, one .22 caliber revolver and several ammunitions and three camouflage uniforms.
Chief Supt. Eliseo Rasco, Police Regional Office-12 director, has ordered a manhunt against remnants of the AKP local terrorist group based in Polomolok, South Cotabato for their involvement in terror attacks and other criminal activities, including illegal drug trade, carnapping, robbery, and gun-for-hire.
Police also tagged AKP members led by Jeoffrey Nilong as the ones responsible for the September 9 bomb attack in Barangay Apopong, this city which injured eight people.
