Morissette Amon wows crowd at 2018 Asia Song Festival


The Philippines’ Morissette Amon wowed the audience when she performed at the 2018 Asia Song Festival held in Busan, South Korea recently.

Amon drew applause and cheers when she sang the Korean song “Resignation,” originally by Lee Young-hyun of the defunct group Big Mama, in a mix of English and Korean lyrics. She also performed her own song “Throwback.”

This is the second straight year that Amon was invited to sing at the festival.

The festival was held for two days from Oct. 2 to 3 at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

Amon performed in the second day of the festival hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Momoland’s Nancy and Yeonwoo.

The performers on the first day were K-pop artists NU’EST W, The Boyz, MXM, YDPP and Jeong Se-woon, and Sudannayuzuyully and C.T.O.

On the second day, the artists were Amon, Wanna One, Seventeen, Momoland, Red Velvet, BewhY, Fromis 9, E-Girls, Vu Cat Tuong and Show Luo.
