K-pop boy band iKON returns to the music scene with the release of "New Kids: The Final."

The album has four songs: The promotional track “Goodbye Road,” “Don’t Let Me Know,” “Adore You” and “Perfect.”
This is the group’s comeback since releasing the song “Killing Me” in August.
“We are also surprised at our speedy comeback. We can’t believe we’re making our third comeback this year, but we don’t really know how we did it. Doing our best is a necessity, so I think we were lucky,” said B.I. during a press conference for the album on Oct. 1, according to YG Life.
The group said they “would be grateful if a lot of people enjoyed our music, but we emptied our minds. We hope a lot of people would listen to the song comfortably.”
“Goodbye Road” was written and composed by B.I., who explained “I thought about the antonym of ‘flower road’ and came up with ‘goodbye road.' After that, I started writing the lyrics.”
“I thought about the word ‘goodbye road,’ imagining someone leaving for somewhere after a break-up. I had to draw a lot of drawings about it,” said Bobby who co-wrote the lyrics and acted with an actress for the song’s music video, which has garnered 2.85 million views as of writing.
He said, “I worked with an actress this time. It was hard to express emotions. I was supposed to make a lonely facial expression since it’s a sad song, but we always showed our bright side. It was hard trying to get emotional”.
About the music video, iKON said, “We took the video a year ago, and filmed additionally a month ago to fill in some points. It will be interesting to compare our past and present.”
They hope that “a lot of people like the song. We will continue to present music that express our age and generation.”
iKON will hold their 2018 Continue Tour in Manila on Nov. 11 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
