DFA Consular Office in Pangasinan disowns social media account

By Liezle Basa Iñigo Calasiao, Pangasinan – The Department of Foreign Affairs- Consular Office (DFA-CO) in this town has warned Pangasinenses and the public that it is not in anyway connected to an unauthorized social media account bearing the office’s name. The DFA Calasiao Pangasinan Facebook page is not authorized to use the departments’ name nor post DFA - CO related data and information, said Jennifer Catherine Demesa, officer-in-charge of the DFA-CO in Calasiao. The transacting public was instead advised to visit the official DFAwebsite at www.dfa.gov.ph or www.passport.gov.ph for online passport appointments and other matters. She also said that senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs) with PWD ID, minors aged seven and below with their parents; single parent with solo parent ID and their minor children; pregnant with medical certificate; and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with sufficient proof of status such as iDOLE Card, valid employment contract or valid work visa can use the walk-in courtesy lane at the DFA-CO in Pangasinan.
