FEU student dies after falling from Manila condo

By Erma Edera A senior high school student of Far Eastern University (FEU) died after he fell from the 14th floor of The Residences condominium on P. Campa Street in Sampaloc, Manila, Wednesday night. (COMMONS WIKIMEDIA/ MANILA BULLETIN) (COMMONS WIKIMEDIA/ MANILA BULLETIN) Police said the 17-year-old Grade 11 student was taken to the Mary Chiles General Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Investigators learned that the student reportedly suffered depression as his parents allegedly pressured him to do well in school. His parents could not be reached for comment as of posting time. Meanwhile, some students offered prayers to the student’s family and requested the public to refrain from sharing any of the pictures or videos of the incident.
