Philippine Honorary Consulate General in Darwin, Consul Januario John Rivas, together with the Assistant Philippine Defence Armed Forces Attaché, Colonel Nhel Richard E. Patricio and partners, were also present during the occasion.
Ruel Daet, president of the Filipino-Australian Association of the Northern Territory (FAANT), attended the activity.
The NTF 91 personnel organized a meet and greet with the Filipino community, including a ship tour facilitated by the crew of FF16. Fun, music and entertainment filled up the ship during the duration of the program.
The activity was intended to build up the Filipino community's solidarity and sense of nationalism towards their mother country, the Philippines.
